Motor Installation Notes
- This electrically operated blind should be connected to a 3
amp power supply by a qualified electrician and all earthing of
the framework done to the regulations that are in place and that
they correspond to the requirements of the building specification.
- Cable protection glands must be used when cable exits the blind
box.
- Ensure that there is more than 300mm of space between each motor
- The power supply cable must not be cut back closer to the motor
less than 1 metre.
Programming the motor
- Press the UP and DOWN buttons on the control switch simultaneously
until the motor shunts up and down.
- Now check the direction configuration (down button to lower)
is correct. If it's wrong, press stop button for 2 seconds until
the motor shunts, this will change direction
- Press the UP button until the blind is fully up.
- Press the STOP and DOWN buttons together until the blind moves
downwards.
- Stop the blind at he desired down position and make any adjustments
using the UP and DOWN buttons to momentarily adjust the down position.
- Press the STOP and UP together to set the down limit. The blind
will then move to the up position.
- When the blind has reached the up limit press the STOP button
for 2 seconds until the motor shunts.
- Cut the main power and you have completed the factory mode and
can begin the installer mode program.
Registering the handset
Press the UP and DOWN buttons on the control switch simultaneously
until the motor shunts up and down. On the back of the transmitter
is a small programming button. Press this button firmly until the
blind shunts up and down. If this doesn't work first time, switch
the power off and on and try again. Do not operate the handset closer
that 500mm from the motor.
In the event of loosing a transmitter or no movement in the motor
you can perform either of two resets.
Partial Reset (limited positions remain)
Using the motors main power supply : -
- Start with power on
- Power off for 4 secs
- Power on for 8 secs
- Power off for 4 secs
- Power on and wait as motor runs for 5 secs before stopping
- Press the program button on the rear of the transmitter for
2 seconds. A partial reset is confirmed by a single double shunt.
Total Memory Reset
Using the motors main power supply : -
- Start with power on
- Power off for 4 secs
- Power on for 8 secs
- Power off for 4 secs
- Power on and wait as motor runs for 5 secs before stopping
- Press the programme button for more than 8 seconds for a complete
factory reset which will erase the motor's programming and all
its settings and is confirmed by 2 sets of double shunts. You
must now complete the factory mode for reprogramming the motor
(see Programming the motor at the top of the page)
